Job Summary

 We are a San Diego-based construction company seeking a detail-oriented Accounting/Administrative Assistant to support our accounting and office operations. This role focuses primarily on day-to-day accounting tasks — including invoicing, billing, accounts payable/receivable, and vendor documentation — while also providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, solid attention to detail, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction office environment. Familiarity with basic accounting principles and construction billing (such as T&M invoicing or AIA billing) is a plus.

 

Responsibilities
·        Strong QuickBooks Online skills, 3+ years

·        Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

·        Google Drive file management

·        Timeclock/timesheet support

·        Basic IT/computer troubleshooting

·        Communicating with clients, vendors, and field staff

·        File maintenance (physical and digital records)

·        Assisting with general office organization

 

 Requirements
·        Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus

·        QuickBooks Online

·        Basic computer and office experience required

·        Strong organization and communication skills

·        Ability to work independently and stay on task

·        Construction office experience is a plus but not required

 

Pay & Benefits
·        $25 – $30 per hour (DOE)

·        Employer-paid healthcare after 90 days

·        40 hours paid sick time after 90 days
